Snowbird

This was Grandma & Grandpa Smith's week at Snowbird. We've been up swimming, alpine sliding, playing with cousins, and riding to the top of the mountain on the chairlift.

Piper also did some bubbles on the balcony, napped a couple times, and ate a Twinkie for the first time.

Apparantly I told her to...

Piper got a bottle of bubble bath out of the bathroom tonight and brought it to me to proudly show me how she got the lid off "all by herself". She thought it was soap and wanted to put some on her hands. Instead of actually just taking it away from her, I explained that it wasn't hand soap, it was bubbles... to make bubbles in the bathtub, and told her she couldn't put it on her hands, that it was only to be used in the bathtub.

And so she trotted off back to the bathroom. I don't know why I thought she was just going to put it back where she got it from. Anyway, a couple of minutes later, I called to see what she was doing. As she called back from the bathroom, I decided I'd better go see what she was up to...
She was standing in the bathtub. She had poured bubbles in her hair and was rubbing them in to make bubbles! She had obeyed me - she got in the bathtub to make bubbles, literally!
