A perfect night for trick-or-treating!
The weather was warm - warm enough that we didn't even need a light jacket. It's still 60 degrees at 11pm!
*I don't own a sewing machine, but I'm good with felt, hot glue and safety pins!
Max the fish - yay, a picture!
Piper's pumpkin.
And she needed me to carve an owl, since she was an owl...
We hit the neighborhood hot dog roast and then headed to a few neighbors to trick-or-treat. Max enjoyed putting candy back in the bowl more than taking it. Oh well. At least he went to the door, and actually would have just gone right on in if we would have let him! But he doesn't really like candy, and just wanted to run down the street and into the street, so after a few houses, Steve took him back to the house to help pass out candy, while I took Piper around the neighborhood. With the weather being so warm, she lasted quite a while and got a boatload of candy.
Of course little miss drama did cry herself to sleep in the end because a) it's going to be a whole year before Halloween comes again, and b) she spent so long trick-or-treating that she only got to pass out candy to one group of kids after we got home! So, if you're in the neighborhood, she'll be out in the driveway after school tomorrow passing out candy to anyone who comes by ;)
Hope everyone had a great Halloween!
