Pajama Day

It was pajama day at preschool.

Piper was the teacherette again.

Is it unpatriotic to pick your nose while holding the flag for the Pledge of Allegiance?!?

He still needs help, and starts to topple over after 15-30 seconds, but his sitting skills are definitely improving :)

New car smell

Well, the practical side took over and I bought my 5th Subaru wagon yesterday. But it's my first new-new car, not just new-to-me-but-really-used car. I debated for weeks and finally decided that I didn't need a used luxury Volvo with 40,000 miles on it when I could get a 2010 Subaru Outback for the same price, and have more leg room {just not as many passengers}.

Serious legroom - 4 more inches than my 2002 Outback...
Max seems to like it. {Piper likes it now, but was disappointed that we didn't get the Volvo with the cupholders she liked!} Why black? I really don't know. I hope I love it. I paced the lot for over 30 minutes in about 35 degree weather trying to make my final decision. I wanted some shade of red, but that wasn't an choice.

And while I spent pretty much my entire day at the dealership, Max had a second tooth when I got home!

Playdate!

First off, sorry to anyone who tried to come and couldn't follow my bad directions - I wrote I-15, but meant I-80. I guess I don't know where I live.

We met Koda for the first time - what a cutie - 6 months old.And Piper had a blast rolling balls across the floor with Justin, and playing with his big sisters.Gage barely held still long enough to get a picture!Porter, a month younger than Max is already sitting very well and can stand when holding on to things. He could teach Max a thing or two.The many cute faces of Carter!

RIP Little Fish

The fish finally died this morning. It had been on it's last leg for some time now. We gave it a proper toilet burial.

No echo today

Aargh. So when they listened to Max's chest today before the sedation, they heard a little wheezing.... which means they won't sedate. So we had to reschedule for February.

So I guess that also means that the cough is from a cold and not just teething? I'm bummed. I don't want to cancel the playdate tomorrow, but really, I'm not sure I'd go to someone's house who had a sick kiddo. So again, I totally understand if you decide not to come. We'll schedule another soon, maybe with bow making! :)

But for those who don't have to be germ-a-phobes, we'll be here ready to play!

Max is starting to really enjoy just playing on the floor.

He & Georgia steal each others' toys...And he rolls all over her... And does a lot of push-ups (still doesn't put much weight on his legs, but he's got strong arms).
