More family pics

One more to come... Katherine, at Wallin Photography, is working her magic (hopefully airbrushing 10 years off my face!)

Playtime

Just for the record... he is not correctly sorting the shapes into the holes... I put them in and he pounds them through - sometimes with his hands, sometimes with the hammer, sometimes with his feet; then the music plays and he does it over and over. :)

Birthday party pics

We had a great get-together with our family. We had hotdogs, cake and ice cream, an egg hunt, and fun presents.

Georgia really wanted in on the egg hunt.

and a quick 14 second video...

May 14th!

We just got our adoption finalization date set - May 14th!!

We'll fly to Texas to finalize and then celebrate at SeaWorld!

Happy Easter and Ta-Da!

And..... ta-da!!

The cake is finished! Hope Max likes it.

2nd Peek

The first layer is done... the 2nd layer (alligator island) is refrigerating... umm, yeah, I didn't intend for the cookies to be so tall... should have measured first and added another layer to the cake - oh well. If we don't tell Max, he'll never know it wasn't supposed to be this way!

Piper wanted in on decorating cookies, too. Her pink turtle...

Sneak peek

Family pics - they're done!

I'll post more later. Thanks to Katherine at Wallin Photography - she does the most amazing editing - doesn't my skin look flawless - love it!!!

...

But I'm off to make Max's birthday cake for tomorrow's family party... it will involve using these...

Birthday dinner

His actual party will be Sunday with family, so we just went to Red Robin for a little birthday dinner last night. We started with dessert :) And then moved on to fries.

Piper loves to go to Red Robin, because her Daddy is the claw-machine-master! After winning this cow, they put in another 50 cents and won a lamb.

This is why we went to the zoo on Monday, not on Max's actual birthday...
