One of the few (wish we had more) traditions we have is visiting the Festival of Trees every year.
I especially love the gingerbread houses.
Piper especially loves the kiddie craft area and getting a balloon animal. This year it was a fish on a pole hat.
Oddly enough, I ran into my cousin, Holly, in the bathroom. So then we found my other cousin, Julie, their kiddos, and my Aunt Carol :)
And then there's the trees. I really couldn't pick a favorite this year.
So many good ones... like "A Christmas Story" complete with leg lamp and the kid sticking his tongue on the flag pole!
One of Carter's trees...
I'm usually quite partial to red and green ones.
One of Kristen's trees. Piper loved it!!
There were several cute cowgirl trees. And another Carter tree.
I also love snowflake themed trees (I've combined the red, white and green color scheme with snowflakes on my own tree). And this was a cute Lego tree.
Very cool bubble gum tree.
And more snowflakes.
Over a $1.5 million dollars was raised last year for Primary Children's Medical Center (where Max had his open heart surgery). I'm sure this year was more of the same! I've always wanted to donate a tree. Hey Steve, didn't you say we needed more tax write-offs next year...
